Bellows Falls Farmers Market

The Bellow Falls Farmers Market is kicking off its 7^th season on Friday, May 21^stfrom 4-7pm. The Market will run every Friday, rain or shine, though Oct 15^th. As always, the Market will feature local farmers and craftspeople, prepared food and live entertainment.

With an increasing demand and awareness for locally grown fruits and vegetables the Bellows Falls Farmers Market provides an outlet for regional farmers to sell directly to the consumer. Whether you are buying greens and lettuce from Guerilla Grown Produce, tomatoes and peppers from Deep Meadow Farm, carrots and potatoes from Harlow Farm or seasonal fruits from Green Mountain Orchards you will know your local producer is behind the stand.

In addition to fruit and vegetables, there will be 100% all natural grass fed beef, whole chickens, pork and lamb cuts are available from Ephraim Mountain Farm, Pastured Meats at East Hill Farm and Sausage Man. Purchase these products to bring home or have them grilled up on the spot.

Ewetopia Farm will offer Vermont maple syrup and maple products. The Home Made Garden sells annual and perennial plants to go along with her selection of squash, pumpkins, jams and jellies. Handmade soaps and lotions are brought to market by returning vendor Grace and Miss Mouse. Zoe Scott will again have her tent and chair set up for a relaxing massage.

If you are looking for dinner, Linh’s Vietnamese Cuisine has prepared food made with farm raised ingredients. Desserts range from pies and donuts to cider and seasonal teas.

Third Friday Art Walks brings to market pottery and jewelry created by community artisans and live entertainment from regional performers. Beer and wine sponsored by local restaurants is also available at the BFFM during Art walk.

New this year is Mandy Walsh Fischetti as market manager. After years as a market vendor and board member Mandy has decided to take on the role of manager. She is looking forward to furthering the local food movement and nurturing her love of community, gardening and food education as market manager.
